Henry is actually a "free range chicken"... not feral. We adopted him from a family that couldn't take him... he was too much trouble. I admit, he isn't very sociable, but he does have character!
Prior to our getting Henry, the owners, hoping to see the last of him, abandoned him in the woods, far from what he knew as home. 3 weeks later Henry arrived back home! None the worse for wear. Henry the explorer...
He's a good rooster, in his own way. We're happy to have him!

Go Henry! My youngest son is a farm animal nut and we cruise the back roads of our area looking for any and ever critter. Funny stuff.
